In this article we look at Spaced Learning/Drip Feeding content for your learners...
We recommend that learners complete up to two lessons within 48 hours to avoid cognitive overload.
Research shows that limiting the volume of material a learner sees simultaneously avoids cognitive overload and is an effective instructional behaviour (Rosenshine's principle no 3).
Bedrock is designed to time out after completing two core curriculum (vocabulary/grammar) lessons. When learners reach their limit, they are served this message:
They will be able to continue as soon as the time limit is up.
If your learners have access to our Tier 3 vocabulary or GCSE English curricula, they will still be able to access this during their learning gap.
