What is the Alpha test and where do I get the results?

For progress to be optimal, it is vital that learners are being taught in the correct Block and therefore being exposed to language that is suitable for their level.

TIP: To ensure learners start their journey through Bedrock's vocabulary curriculum in the right place, we encourage schools to implement the Alpha test in test-like conditions.

The test should not take too long. It’s designed to take 5-10 minutes, but that’s only a guide. It depends on the learner, and there is no time constraint, so take your time and don't rush.
The questions are served in Block order until too many are failed, which is the block the pupil will be in.

Once the test has been completed, your learners will unlock the Block based on their current knowledge.
